SHANGHAI JAZZ
3:00pm to 5:30pm
NJJS in collaboration with Shanghai Jazz resumes its popular series of
Sunday afternoon socials. You don't have to be a member to attend — but admission
is free if you are. Come for the music programs, social hour, and fine food and drink.

Drinks and food will be available throughout the afternoon.
NJJS members admitted free. $10 guest admission, which can be applied
to a membership.
The
program takes place between 3:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. These socials are proving to be both
entertaining and educational. Please take advantage of this terrific
benefit of NJJS membership.

Performance by the Scholarship Jazz Quartet featuring NJJS jazz scholarship winners from around the college scene.

Trombonist Jim Fryer Duo with pianist Gordon Webster
Renowned versatile jazz trombonist/educator/band leader/recording artist performs and interacts with the audience about his career and the current jazz scene.Emerging monster pianist Gordon Webster collaborates in tradition duet fashion. FREE to members, $10 for non-members (applicable towards membership of $40)

Legendary Jazz Guitarist Al Caiola with Bassist Gary Mazzarappi
Renowned jazz guitarist performs and talks about his amazing 70 year career playing all over the world , recording 50 albums and working with many of the biggest names in jazz history and show business legends in general. The other half of the duo is bassist Gary Mazzarappi, one of the finest on the scene today. FREE to members, $10 for non-members (applicable towards$40 membership)
